Blackpool Pleasure Beach is selling pieces of The Big One rollercoaster

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is selling off parts of its iconic rollercoaster The Big One after a re-tracking of some sections.

Thrill-seekers will be able to get their hands on a piece of the track and take it home from ?170. 

There are nine types of tracks available to buy on the Blackpool Pleasure Beach website, including steps, a platform, and a handrail. 

The Big One, formerly known as the Pepsi Max Big One opened on May 28 1994 and cost around ?12 million. 

When it opened, it was the tallest and steepest rollercoaster in the world until Fujiyama was constructed in Japan in 1996. 

It is still the tallest and second-fastest rollercoaster in the UK. 

The pieces are available to buy for collection only, and some pieces are open to offers.

Also for sale on the website is an M&M Monorail car for ?150 and a Blackpoool Pleasure Beach banner flag for ?25.
